... I am trying to gather as much information as possible concerning having cysts in the urethra. The reason: My sister was recently diagnosed with a cyst, she went to her Urologist and he said that there was a surgery available but to wait till it is an absolute need. ... lookin, Your symptoms sound soooo familiar! At first, I did not describe mine as "pain" either but as it has progressed, it's definately pain... You might want to explore the possibility of "interstitial cystitis", a chronic bladder pain syndrome of which there is no known cause. Yeah, I always hope they will find something...I mean i found out i had 2 polyps that grew inside my urethra and i had a ovarian cyst adhesion to me and they removed them both so i thought the bleeding would stop and didn't so they did more tests and they also found i have kidney *cysts* on each side but he said that wouldn't cause pain or bleeding.. and said i didn't need...
