... If so I would suspect a UTI. I would definately see your doc due to the flank pain. You dont want to mess around with a Kidney infection. If its not that, at least you will know, or maybe they will find out what it really is. ... (3 replies)

... I'm not an expert on this stuff but when I had a UTI about a year ago I had severe flank pain that sent me to the ER. I had a kidney infection, they can be serious so get it checked out. If that is what it is you don't want it to get worse. Good luck! ... (1 replies)

Well, I've hear that the urethral dilation helps some folks, but unfortunately, it's not a permanent relief for infection in many cases.
