... I have a fibroid that is 8 cm ..I had abnormal bleeding in August..before that I had normal periods. I had a endo biospy and now I am waiting for the results! ... I just had an endometrial biopsy for the same reason (not sure how much thickness there was though) and have not been told that. My gyn did just put me on Yaz birth control though and said it should help with the uterine thickness. I am in my late 40s. I am not sure of your age, but you may want to ask about an option like that. I know I would not want to think about going... (1 replies)

... C but every doctor is different in how they do their procedures. I don't mean to scare anyone but Its the biopsy removal that hurts especially when they clamp down on it. I had the worst cramping ever. ... (8 replies)
... The doctor opens the cervix and inserts a sort of "straw" into the uterus. Then he or she literally twirls the straw around in there and sucks out endometrial tissue from the uterus. The only thing that I found uncomfortable is when the doctor clamped my cervix in order to keep it open. ... (8 replies)
