... All I can add to the above post is trust your gut. An endometrial biopsy if done right will detect cancerous cells. The problem is that unless you get the biopsy from the right place, you don't get accurate results. I had an ultrasound which did show a "thickening" in the endo lining up near the top of the uterus. ... (2 replies)

You should also have a vaginal ultrasound to look at the thickness of the endometrial lining, that does give some key information. ... (3 replies)

... No, it doesn't always mean cancer. But something is wrong in there. Maybe polyps or a thickened endometrial lining. They do not have to be cancerous, but you can't rule that out as a possibility until you get the biopsy done. Guess you had that today, right? ... (7 replies)
... C and then send the tissue to pathology for inspection. The endometrial biopsy will, however be useful to ensure that the tissue cells in your uterus are normal. Keep in mind that you have to wait a bit for the results of this test. ... (8 replies)
