... MrsBlack, I love your idea of including veggies in the snack. I try to eat a lot of filling low-calorie veggies as part of my lunch and dinner, but I forget about them when I am looking for something in the afternoon to stabilize my blood sugar so I don't go crazy before dinner. Eating 5-6 times per day is healthiest to keep your metabolism going & to keep your blood glucose (sugar) level throughout the day. Start counting your calories. Your BMR says to maintain your 230lbs you need to eat 2,300 calories per day. To lose weight, subtract 500-800 calories from that.... (4 replies)
